Lt Col Richard Karasira has been appointed as the new chairman of APR FC.
Karasira succeeds departing General Mubarakh Muganga, who resigned the office after three years of service to become the next Chief of Defense Staff.
Francois Regis Uwayezu was also named Vice Chairman by the club.
Uwayezu is not new to football administration in Rwanda, having returned two years after resigning as secretary general of the football regulating body (Ferwafa), a position he held from 2018.
APR, who last made it to the semifinals of a CAF competition two decades ago, will be hoping to go all out and at the very least make it to the group stages of the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.
