Rayon Sports’ Jean Marie Vianney Muvandimwe has signed a two-year contract with Mukura Victory Sport.
The Rwandan left-back replaced Tresor Muhoza, who just signed a two-year contract with Bugesera Football Club after his contract with Rayon Sports expired at the end of this month.
Muvandimwe did not have enough playing time at Rayon Sports during the 2018/19 season because Elie Ganijuru was Haringingo’s first option at left defender.
He signed a two-year contract with the Blue and White from Police Football Club in July 2021.
Muvandimwe is the Mukura’s fourth new acquisition, following the signings of Burundian midfielder Gerard Ndayongeje from Vital’o in Burundi, defender Chris Rushema from Marine FC, and defender Eric Niyonzima from Etoile de l’Est.
The Huye-based club placed sixth in the 2022/23 Primus National League with 45 points and finished third in the 2023 Peace Cup.
