Pastor Théogène Niyonshuti, also known as ‘Inzahuke,’ has died. He died in a car accident on his way from Kampala, Uganda to Rwanda.
His brother, Emmanuel Uwarugira, verified the tragic news to IGIHE, noting that Pastor Niyonshuti was returning from Uganda.
According to reports, the accident happened while Pastor Niyonshuti was accompanied by two other people. Unfortunately, one person perished on the scene, along with Pastor Niyonshuti, and the condition of the third person in the automobile is unknown.
Uwarugira expressed his condolences and acknowledged the occurrence, saying, “It is true that he died.” I’m on my way to the spot to analyze the problem. He was in the accident with two other people, one of whom also died instantaneously, while the fate of the other remains unknown. It is possible that he died as a result of his injuries.”
Niyonshuti’s death was revealed in the early hours of Friday, June 23, 2023.
Pastor Niyonshuti, a member of the ADEPR Church, had earned a substantial following due to his remarkable transformation and his unusual approach to evangelism, which was distinguished by his use of street vocabulary and tone.
Prior to becoming a preacher, Niyonshuti had lived on the streets, which was not how he imagined his future, given his privileged upbringing in an affluent family.
